IMO a fuel pressure gauge is more important than any other gauge in the truck. especially on a stock truck. not only does it help trouble shooting if the truck starts running bad but it also lets you monitor everything so you dont burn the pump up.

whether its electric or mechanical, theyre all easy to install

It's very simple it took me about 15 minutes to tap the banjo bolt and then wire up the sending unit for my glow shift gauge. Also like tltruckparts said it's a very important gauge for troubleshooting problems. I had a stumble at low rpms when I gave it some acceleration and I was running out of fuel pressure because of a weak pump.
