Default Engine degreaser

Tryin to clean up the engine a little bit. Theres a lot of build up on the crank case cover and front of engine, what have y'all had luck with for this?

i just the engine brite or engine gunk or whatever it is from napa. it works pretty good

I used Purple power this last time it worked so good it took the luster off things and i had to reclean them with shiny stuff

yes purple power is the right stuff to used but becareful as i cleaned my truck in my dads driveway without thinking and when i was done there was about 10 gallons of oil and crap on his driveway so i purple powered his driveway

dont use oven cleaner IMO i used it once and it f_cked up alot of sh_t in my engine bay

Oven cleaner is great for bare blocks. I would not use on anything that has paint or polish that you would like to keep. Thinking bout it again, can't be good for rubber either.
