cummins heater grid
You need the solenoids. I believe Ford starter solenoids will work for this but it will take some buggereing around to get it to work. I believe that youll also need a fusible link between the positive battery terminal and the solenoids.
I would go to www.genosgarage.com - and get a Factory Service Manual. This should have all the wiring diagrams and such to help you out.
What year of Cummins is this? If its a 98 is it a 12V or 24 V?

well since your in texas its pretty warm id assume. they only come on under 60* soemwhere around there im pretty sure. you probably dont need them. and it wont hurt anything to removes them either
ok thanks guys ill just leave it unhooked i think i found my problem i checked my injectors and 1 and 2 was shootin right after having them cracked open for a couple of secounds but the rest was just pouring out not shootin out like 1 and 2 timing or bad pump maybe?
