Default pretty sure i blew my TC

so i noticed my truck was running funny a couple days before i left for training in the desert for two months, it was sluggish and didnt put the power to the wheels. I just got back this week to a hugh puddle of tranny fluid but when i started it and checked the trany fluid it was over full? now it has no power to the wheels and keeps kicking in and out of gear when im driving. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!!! my friend has a 98 and he just put a nv 5600 in it and got rid of his slush box and says i should do the same, only problem is i dont have the money so was thinking about the nv4500 but dont know if there is any references to help or what not

Puddle on the ground and not able to drive with power sounds like a bad seal where the convertor goes into the pump.

i just recently posted a how to on doing a 47re to nv4500 swap look it up it was pretty easy if you know how to wrench and with the right deals you can have it pretty cheap. i figured 3500 is what i spend on doin my conversion.

x2 with hammer

if that seal is bad then it will leak out fluid and you wont have pressure for lock up so it would go in and out, is the fluid burnt?

if you want to swap trannys the best way to go would be to find a one truck to take every thing you need off instead of hunting down all pieces one at a time

the in and out of lock up could be the break light switch or the tps
