Default delivery valve help

im working on swapping my 160hp pump delivery valves with 181s out of a 215, first the ones im put in are marked 181 but the ones i pulled out of mine are marked 167, i thought they were 131s? also the 215 had NO washers or shims in the barrels but mine has a thin washer or shim below the holder. they are not copper as far as i can tell, should i take them out or leave them? any help asap would be great i want to get this done

the truck is a early 95 with an auto tranns

Take the shims out and leave them out. You def have 131's there is no such thing as a 167.

Also useing the 181 holder and 131 valve will give you alil more fuel than just the 181's alone... Thats up to you

ok thanks, i have heard that the 160 had two different dvs so thats y i thought they werent 131s, i also was wondering if it was normal to find some metal shavings in the barrels? both pumps had them. mine is hard starting when its cold in the winter and i pop-tested my injectors and cleaned them so im thinking maybe my pump is going out. i was running used motor oil atf and deisel for around 10k

i dont run it much anymore, i stay home and take care of the baby. i heard the used oil was bad for the pumps because of the carbon thats in it

i got the dvs all done and modified my afc housing runs great but seems to stumble a bit around 1500, maybe the timing? although its not near as bad as when i put the 90hp injectors with stock timing and a #5 plate. fuel psi is between 15-20

i still have the stock ofv from 95, could that be the problem? or could i take it apart and stretch the spring? fuel filter has less than 1000miles and i cleaned the pre-filter screen at the same time
