Can I use some lucas oil treatment or a can of Restore to help with the blowby from my truck? It's not terrible but it will haze out an intersection occasionally (turned up pump proly doesn't help either)?
no. blowby is caused by an excessively worn engine, its not a lubrication problem or anything. its the fact that your piston rings are so worn theyre letting oil past them
But wouldn't something like Restore (which i've used in high mileage gassers and it worked GREAT as far as oil consumption, mileage and poor idle etc), or Lucas Oil which is really thick, work to stop a large portion of the blowby?
