Default Additives for blowby?

Can I use some lucas oil treatment or a can of Restore to help with the blowby from my truck? It's not terrible but it will haze out an intersection occasionally (turned up pump proly doesn't help either)?

Thanks all

Matt

no. blowby is caused by an excessively worn engine, its not a lubrication problem or anything. its the fact that your piston rings are so worn theyre letting oil past them

Worn rings allow combustion pressure into the crankcase - that's "blowby."

thats right ... the combustion pressure will pressurise the crankcase, and then the breather tube will vent the extra pressure.

But wouldn't something like Restore (which i've used in high mileage gassers and it worked GREAT as far as oil consumption, mileage and poor idle etc), or Lucas Oil which is really thick, work to stop a large portion of the blowby?

Worth a shot, I'd say.

Alright mr. Rattler no its not that bad but it CAN haze the street lightly at a stop sign.

Should I try restore, to restore the walls and rings etc, or try a thicker oil enhancer like lucas? Anybody with any luck?
