I Am Completely Stumped Coolant Loss
well im loosing coolant at a pretty good rate. its hard to say how much but lets say a half gallon every 300 miles as a guess. i am definetely not burning any coolant. its not in my oil. i didnt blow a headgasket... i have studs and o-rings and i only hit 40 lbs. of boost with the stock charger and yes i torqued the studs down right and all that stuff. its not my heater core... i have no antifreeze in my cab. and no coolant is on the ground. so where is this going? tho only thing i havent checked is my water pump and i do have a leak from the front of my truck but it looks like oil and my timing case is cracked so i always thought it was oil but i jb welded it and i guess what i think is oil is coolant mixing with greasy crap and looks like oil. kinda a long stretch. i pressure tested it and i loose about 5 p.s.i. every ten minutes or so. i also have not replaced my rad cap. im pullin my truck in the shop tomorrow and me and my boss are gonna look the whole engine down good so i wanted to know what to look for. sorry for the worlds longest post ever.

i just checked and that freeze plug is still fully intact. as well as all the rest of them. wouldn't the plug be completely gone or have major crack if anything happened to it?

like BrokenG said.........prolly the water pump, there is a weep hole to let you know but the fan blows so hrd it distorts everything, if you not going to tow you can pull the fan and watch from there, clean the area well then sprinkle some flour so the glucol will make some tracks.....................or just replace the damn pump they are cheap
