I lost od in my '96 after changing batteries. I unhooked the batteries and let it sit for 15 min. and hooked 'em back up and all is well. I have no idea why it happened but it still works and that was a least a year ago.

 

Well I have 94 and im haveing the same problems

 

swap the trans relay with one of the other ones in the power distribution box, This fixed my 96 when I was not getting fourth or locking-up
