Default whats wrong with this truck.

a guy in the local area wants me to look at his 94 12 valve. he just had new injectors put in it and the motor is stock. he said it just doesnt have the power. he said if he throws it in neutral and hammers it it kinda smokes bluish whitish and pops. its lacking pulling power.

im gunna check the timing and change the fuel filter tommorow. any other suggestions?

no there stock replacement bosch injectors from our local disel shop. and he said no. it has always kinda been a dog. he got the injectors a few months ago. but he said it wasnt really noticeable untill recently. im gunna check all the fuel. bump the timing to 15 degrees, and slide the stock plate and housing full forward. that give him a lil extra power
whats the easiest way to check fuel pressure?

I'm in with everyone else, check the fuel lines and pressures. White, or Blue smoke means the fuel isn't being Atomized meaning that the pressure probably isn't right. Whether it be from one of the pumps not supplying the proper pressure, or the fuel filter being plugged. If you check those and everything seems good maybe give her about half to a quart of ATF (Automatic Tranny Fluid) That's a great detergent for Diesel Fuel systems. I use the cheapest stuff I can buy and put about a half a quart in 1 time a month or so, you can put it in every tank which I did with my old 98 12 V.
