H1C and HX35

What's the difference between the H1C found on many 94-95 12Vs and the HX35 that came later?

The H1 is a 54 compressor and the HX is a 57. The H1 has big exhaust housing the HX has a 12cm. The HX has a big snap ring that holds the compressor housing on. The H1 has a V-band.
