Default help with fuel shutoff soleniod

i have a 94 model 12v and the fuel shutoff soleniod is actin gup i think. Maybe the wiring coming into it. Either way it gets really hot and it does not react when the key is switcheed on. Once the key is on you can go over to it and pull it up and it will stick, but wont lift itself. Which wires should have what voltage and which ones come from where? Just wondering what to do with it.

Sometimes taking the solenoid apart, cleaning it up, and adjusting it will fix it. its worth a shot because its free:
