Hey peeps, I got a '95 Dodge Cummins Turbo bout 147,000 miles, and when i got it , there was a slip. It was parked for 2 years before i got it.
Most times when i take off from a dead stop, and it also has slight trouble shifting between
2-3, kinda have to back off and force it to shift at a lower RPM.

Fluids have been ok, havent seen any pools of fluid on the ground.

Also i have heard it could be a shift sensor.

Dunno, first time diesel owner

any answers would help, I hope i dont have to re- build.

 

is the truck stock?...motor wise

 

could be the governor.. anyway, it might be time for a trans rebuild.. maybe worn clutches

 

Just bought, as far as i know its stock. taking it in friday, was just looking for answers before hand
