i got a 95 auto 47rh tranny it blew up and i was wondering would a tranny out of a 94 with a v10 work and would it bolt right up i cant afford to rebuild the one i got or buy a good tranny but i ran into a good deal on a 94 v10 truck i need fix it so i can sell it

 

ive been told they the same tranny, as long as the electronic are same on both trannys

 

it should be the same tranny, but i think the torque converter should be quite a bit different. the diesel should have a considerably lower stall than the gasser.

 

you should be fine due to both having the 47rh trans.... you might have to change the vb due to the shift points on that V10 im not positive though....

 

i can just take the valve body out of mine and my torque converter .thats if i didnt break both of them .cause i know something inside the trans broke. but the v10 truck only has 70,000 on it i can get it for 900 dollars for the whole truck, motor is blowed up and some of the body is shot typical dodge .

 

get it then..... you can part that out and make some money
