Default seem to be leaking some fuel

Jus bought me a 95 dodge 2500 auto 2wd cummins yesterday. All stock 159k on it only thing ive done so far is put on a 4 inch straight pipe adjust the idle and take the silencer ring out. I noticed the first time I test drove it it was dripping a lil bit but the guy said he sprayed the engine off so we figured thats what it was. But now that I got it home it's still leaking I thought I could see it leaking down the tranny when looking around the fuel filter. Jus wondering if there are any common leaks on these trucks or if you could point me in the right direction i've been looking at it for a while is jus haven't pin pointed it yet.

Yep. Take the fuel filter canister and mount off and it's right there.

Ok I think its leaking where it connects to the steel line this is low pressure though? How long of a piece should I buy?

A foot should be more than enough. Make sure the line is Diesel rated or you will be doing it again it short order. I was in a pinch when mine split (On vacation is North Carolina) I used EFI rubber line and it got me home.

Yep. It's a rubber line between two steel lines. That's why it's easier to pull the whole filter canister off the head.
