Default Guys need a little help!

I buying this truck I found it seems like a pretty good deal but I havent had a 1st gen dodge currently I own a 2nd gen I know a lot more in what to look for in a 2nd gen. So if you can give me some tips in what to check for this is what I am looking at 1996 dodge ram 2500 4x4 extended cab AUTOMATIC (that worries me) 195000 miles it has 3 gauges pyro boost and trans temp on a pillar it has a bigger transmission oil pan, rancho lift kit, after market wheels 18" tires about half life, tramsmission oil cooler.Exterior looks pretty good doesn't seem like it's been wrecked, the guy said it had a small oil leak from a line that comes from the oil cooler and the truck does not have a goosneck so it has never pulled a gn trailer. Another thing that worries me is that the guy has like two other trucks that are 4wd and he is got them very jacked up and I asked him if he did alot of four wheel drive and he said that he did so what do you guys think ? Thanks!

If it was a 2wd and he only ever drove in 2wd, would that worry you too? You have to take it for a drive, see what it feels like. Look at the pump, if the tamper proof screws have been tampered with, ask what the reason is. Check more on the oil leak, could be nothing, worth a look. What is he asking for it?

buy it i wouldnt be worryed about if he has been mudding in it look at the frame to ee if its all rusty but other than that it sounds good. Ask him if he ran synthetic or regular oil that way you dont run the wrong kind.
