ok found out what was wrong with my tranny torque converter is on its way out im puttin a triple disc converter and new vb in.....the question is.....when you drop the tranny and pull the tc the shaft the tc rides on the small center one what is that called???? i have heard they are crap.....and who has the best but cheapest i found a place that i can get a rebuilt triple disc tc for 300 and found a vb for 175....

 

sounds like good deals to me ... i believe wat you are talking about is the input shaft but not positive

 

Input shaft. Opie from intelligent engineering builds the best but with the converter you are buying I think a Sonnax billet one-piece will be fine as well. The entire trans has to come apart for the input shaft to be installed. Being you are in GA I would get a hold of Garmon's He builds converters and VB's in house and can get you the input shaft as well.
