60lb Valve Springs
alright i just picked up a brand new complete in the box jacobs exhaust brake for $570 bucks, it comes with everything including the 60lb valve springs (so now i can buy a 4gsk instead of a 3gsk ) the install for the exhaust brake seems pretty straight forward but the only part that worrys me is the valve spring install, anyone got any tips for me on that, or for that matter the intall on the brake itself, alright thanks in advance guys

can they be changed on the truck??, im assuming just put the piston your working on at TDC and swap the springs since the valves wont fall into the cylinder, good time to run the valves also. 60# springs are light and can be compressed by hand unlike gasser valve springs where they number in the hundreds of pounds. i think i will do this when i get my 35 and build my 3 inch crossover.

"I" would go ahead and do both intake and exhaust while you are in there.... but that's me personally.... i'm going to get me some high dollar springs when i get my head done.... the machine ship (they built Stucky Racing's Motors) said the bottom end would go before i would need better springs.... but they are pricey.... ~$550 for springs and retainers or ~$1100 to get the head ported, valve job, and new springs......
