Default 4x4

I got a pull locking cable to engauge the front axle. Lets just say it serves its purpose. I dont care for it. When its cold ( like it is now, its a PITA to use. ) Ive looked at Napa and all the local parts stores for the whole assembley. The housing, shift fork and vacuum actuator. No luck. The fella i bought it off of gave me the old lines that run to it. all i need is a new assembley. Can anybody help. Im hoping its not a freegin dealer only part.......
Thanks,
kyle

i got the same pull locker setup as you. does it also have the twist ****? or just a straight pull? you can also leave the hubs locked, and then when you want 4x4 just put the transfer case in 4hi or 4lo. the 4wd light will always be on but oh well.

Ive thought about just leavin it. but when you open the door to get it it looks like i got a PTO, the guy made it really big and goofy. It a twisting ****. it locks. I quess i just want the factory set up. im Wierd like that. I cant engage it going down the road ( like 25-30 mph) it sounds like hell. With the factory set up i could shift into 4x4 at like 50mph. When it comes down to it I find the factory deal nicer. I DO like having 2wd low. Just want it to be factory again

That would be a dealer item. I have no idea what kind of $$ new from the dealer but the best would be going used from a junk yard. And you said you do have the vac lines?. Wouldnt think that it would be too big of deal to find the acutator off a front axle from a junk yard.
