what is the rack plug?
what is its functions?
what would i gain by buying a new one? such as the mack rack plug?

it'll add a tiny bit of top end power... i gain about 3psi of boost due cuz of the added fuel cuz the rack moves a little farther, imo its worth it but if ur looking for a big gain a rack plug isnt the right thing to buy

oh no im not looking for any more powe. just a simple add on .
im happy with the power i got. i think i need some injectors and 191's. along with my new exhaust housing for my twins.

I will disagree with you the extra 2mm of rack travel can make a big difference

alright its worth a try i guess, plus i was told that the rack plug was the reason my truck hangs up at about 1200rpms before it drops to an idle when i push in the clutch

With his truck being a 215 pump truck the rack plug may not help him much anyway as anything over 18mm of rack travle just gets lost with the retarding barrels and plungers.

yeah. my 3 buddies and me are each gunna pay a quarter of the snap on timing kit for our 12v's. 50 bucks for me sounds good to be able to change and play with the timing

I thought it was anything over 16mm on a 215 pump and the retard notches come into play.
