Default Fuel Problem

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone with thier help with my fuel problem on my 2nd gen.Turns out it was the strainer on the fuel heater. There were some medium sized debris inside and the filter was kind of dirty. Also it was not very tight and the gasket was hard as a rock. I would say that air was getting in and the debris clogging up the inside. Now it fires up like new , no shutting off and purrs like a kitten. Such a big problem from such a small filter. note: Filter should be changed everytime you change the Fuel filter. Never knew that either, but after reading the service manual i did find what i was looking for. Anyways Merry Christmas everyone! Truck is for sale, due to expanding family on the 12th of Jan. hurry before it gets traded!!

*Edit

You mean you change the fuel filter the same time as the oil filter.
