there an easy way to inspect my conversion nv4500 before putting it in my truck, i want to make sure syncros and everything is as it should be. also what should i look for if i take the tail housing off that would indicate a potential problem

 

Well, if there is a pile of junk at the bottom of the case then that might be a concern . . . . .

Basically, pull the PTO covers and see what you have there. Other than a tear down, install it and go.

 

thanks i know i have to run a specific kind of tranny fluid through it but would it hurt if i flushed it with something less expensive than 22 dollars a quart hahah

 

Amsoil has the right fluid and it's cheaper than the stealer....
