OK...if it indeed is a boost leak under load? Ummm...How do you detect that?

You can use ether to locate leaks but they have to be pretty serious to find that way. If you put soapy water on the connections and the load the engine hard any where there is a bubble means that you are loosing boost from there. Another way is to physically take loose all the boots and clamps and check them visually. Don't forget about the oring that seals the turbo compressor outlet to the 90* elbow, they hae a nasty habit of blowing apart if the v-clamp isn't tight enough.
