have a question about turbo boost on our trucks .. i read some were (but not sure) that stock we sposed to boost 16psi or around there ... just got my boost gauge workin and wanted to test it out and i am boosting 18-20 ... it cruzes up to 18 then slowly up to 20 and peeks out there ... would having my star wheel full foward do that ? to my knowledge i dont see that it would but not sure

 

star wheel doesnt add fuel just changes at what time the pump sends full fuel

 

right ... thats why i dont under stand why i am boosting wat i am versus stock ... cuz thats all i have done to the truck

 

I am told that the stock turbos can boost up to 35 psi

 

they can, but not when the rest of the motor is stock.

 

ever have the afc off? maybe when u put it back on u slid it forward slightly?

just pretend that you have a special truck that dodge already turned up a little bit for you just think, that means that when other people are reaching 25psi with your setup that your getting 30psi....

 

thats true .. they are glow shift ... so it could be a bit off
