We have a tool from Snap On that has the proper sized wrench (36mm for Cummins), then a long punch that engages the wrench, and on the other end goes in an air hammer. So, you don't destroy the nut, but get the advantage of leverage and an air hammer to knock it loose. It wasn't too spendy either. . . . .l

has anybody put electric fans on there cummins? i was wondering it it was worth it?
|
electric fans are always worth it. more controlability and you dont have to worry about the clutch on the fan. easier to work on. more room and the list goes on not to mention better cooling
|
you got electric fans?

You can also take the 4 10mm bolts off that bolt the whole assembly to the block.

I got my new fan blade and went to put it on and discovered that I left my wrenches at work again. So I dug around and found a cheap1 1/4 open end wrench I ground the opening till it fit the hex on my fan clutch,it worked great!
