You can get the KoolVue towing mirrors for the 2nd gen trucks, power and heated. I have a set on the '01 and honestly I can't tell any difference in quality between them and the OEM towing mirrors on my '05.

The 2001-2002 flip up style tow mirrors do not have a heat/power option at all from the factory, they are manual.
They will fit any truck from 1994 to 2002 without any extra modifications at all.
There are some aftermarket ones like this that have both the heat/power options but they are POS's and many who bought them have had trouble with them.

has any one tried to wire in a defrost circut out of lets say a honda for the rear window. it has a pretty universal looking button and if ya use the whole circut it would automactically kick it off. i havent seen a defrost switch on the 2nd gen dodge so you would prolly have to pull it off a newer truck or another kind of car. i figured the honda button would fit right up where the overdrive off button is on the auto's( to the left of the cup holder)
