question is...would a leak in the return line cause this?

 

do you have to push the pedal in for the initial start?

 

i push my pedal in it just starts easier as for the almost stall air getting trapped can do that

 

yeah i push the pedal in a little...i havent replaced the return line yet so wondering if that could cause it.

 

Sounds Like the Idle might be a touch low, The return line wouldnt cause an issue like this i wouldnt think. I would look at fuel supply and restriction (fuel filter and such). The thing is, if the truck runs fine after the initial stumble , I wouldnt think it's supply or return related unless air is getting in on the suction side!

 

yeah I agree, i will order a new pre filter screen kit...check all fittings and go from there.
