like the 47rh and the 47re what are the difference in them?

47rh = hydraulic
47re = electronic

I don't remember the exact breakdown of the numbers. 4 is 4 speed, 7 is strength i believe, don't remember what the R is.

47RH was in all 12 valves minus some of the very newest which I've heard may have a 47re.

basically 47rh = 12 valve 47re = 24 valve

47rh was in 94 and 95, 47re was in 96 up till the 48re

i was on the suncoast website today looking for a trans and under the identify your transmission page it stated that the 47 re was used from 96 to 2002 butalso show differences between several of the years ..

anyone know what years could b used on what years if any.

47RH was also used in the early model 96's.
