just bought a 1996 12v with 5speed for $4800. and it is all stock and only has 170000 on it.

what do i need to do to get this thing to lay down 300hp to the ground for know. my goal is 500hp.

for 300hp what do need
1. fuel plate what size
2. dd clutch
3. gauges

 

First off good buy

215 pumps dont need much to hit 300hp

you need at least an EGT gauge and a boost gauge wount hurt.

You can grind your own #100, 0 or 10 plate or buy one. You may need a clutch depending on how you drive and how worn out yours is. Other than that you will just need to do a little AFC tunning and your there.

While your at it I would add a GSK. It will not be needed to get to 300hp but will make your truck a lot more fun.

 

are you asking 300 rwhp lik e on a dyno or just engine hp? It will make a wee bit o difrence
