Default somethins wrong

i finally got my truck all back together today after the whole kdp catastrophe, fired it up and drove it out of the garage n it runs fine. goin down the road however, the truck feels gutless, turbo wont push more than 17 or 18 psi and egt's won't get above 900 no matter what. and even when i lug it there is almost no smoke at all. im thinkin the timing slipped. i degreased the pump shaft and the gear and torqued it to 144 but its the only thing i can figure. am i right or is it somethin else?

Sounds like the timing has slipped.

well today i was goin up a hill and the truck wouldnt go over 55... couldn't get out of its own way, then all of a sudden i heard the turbo scream, smoke started pourin outta the stack n it took off like a rocket. went to autozone n picked up a new filter. havent taken it for a ride yet but im pretty sure thats what it was. filter was kinda layin upside down for 2 weeks... but all in all im glad to have my truck back

I think I would check the pump timing to be sure. Do you have the correct tools to check it?

you dont really have to time it if you set it to tdc then pull it and then make sure its at tdc and then put it all back in itll be good
