hey guys i need the torque specs for the rockers. i believe the pump gear is 144ft lbs but im not 100% sure. i miss my damn truck!!! its comin back together pretty good though

 

timing gear is 144 the rocker tower big bolt is a head bolt and the small one is like 30ish

 

Cant help you on rockers.

Torque the pump nut to at least 150 lbs, and make sure the shaft is completely degreased - or the timing will slip on you.

 

i read that the big bolts are supposed to have 115 or 125, but they feel like they almost wanna stretch before that. and 30 seems a little light on the little bolts. am i just bein overly cautious?

 

the little one torques to 18 ft lbs, if all of your head bolts are out or loose now, (which ever) there is a sequence to torque them in, i dont know what it is exactly, but the first round you torque all of them to 25, then 50 then 98. each time starting the sequence over. hope that helps you, those specs were taken from a data base at a technical collage i could probly get the sequence if that would be necessary. the big ones are head bolts
