i have a 95 and the speedo is at 33 sitting stil and it idles reading 2200. its not charging or the batteries are junk. i dunno i bought it this way. ive read the cps can cause similar problems but dont wanna spend 150 bucks if i dont need one. and ideas? or is it just the cluster?

 

check ur crank position sensor....mine had an internal short and my tach, speedo, wait light and alt quit charging, my a/c also stopped working....after replacing all the sensors and gettin the pcm looked at it came down to a 100 dollar cps.

 

k thanks...ive read so many different things i didnt wanna replace every sensor.

 

my bet is the crank sensor it fixed my problem with no ac, cruse, alt and speedo.
