There's elbows available, You can drill and tap your charger and wastegate directly off the charger's new elbow. The elbow will Restrict flow causing the wastegate to open later and slower.

so the ordeal with hose clamp was pointless then?

It may restric a little flow, But hardly any. It's really a bad Idea because you have no idea if it will prevent the wastegate from doing its job. Real easy way to toast a Turbo!

another thing would it help to put a blow off valve on the truck

The blow off valves came around for these trucks when everyone was running a HX-40 style charger. The 40 due to surge issues and very basic compressor and turbine wheel design had a serious problem with powerfull surges breaking the shaft. BD came up with their BOV for the HX40 trucks that were fueling hard. While the newer chargers are more resistant to surge and shaft problems, Surge is still a problem. In the lower HP ranges it's not really required and with a properly designed setup surge is less intensive.

Unless you've had one shaft break already I wouldnt even look at a BOV

well it seemed like his truck ran really good! only prob he has no gauges so i can really tell but it ran like a top! thanks so much yall

ok another thing thinking of doing a hood stack and i was wondering what all if anything i would need to buy to do it or could i just modify what i got??
