depends on what shape the pump is in. if you want the same pump that came out of the truck you are looking for a 175 hp pump. if it were me I would look for a 180 or a 215 hp ppump.

and whats wrong with your pump?

could also be bad fuel ... thats what caused my first 175 pump to blow a plunger up

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

and you could always T off the return line with a guage if you wanted

if you want or get some hose and run it where ever you want. that should give you the press after the overflow valve.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I think the press going into the pump would be more important

I would have a good pump shop look at it starting off! Columbus diesel supply, Scheid, Industrial ....Someone who knows these pumps. I've yet to see one that couldnt be repaired. Thats not to say it wouldnt be as cost effective to purchase a used one or a new one!
We offer most of our reman pumps in the $1050-$1200.00 range. With a $600.00 core
We also offer industrial injection pumps starting at $1750.00-$4100.00
If I can be of help please feel free to give me a call or pm! 828-266-9077
