I think I'm headed towards a new set of boots. Who has gone aftermarket with these and how do you like the product you chose? With my setup I was making 40 psi, but I think I have a blow out. No plans of adding any more power/boost so I don't need the super awesome boots with 10000 psi capability that are nearly impossible to get on.

All of the boots on my motor came from Enterprise Engine Performance in Thornville,OH.The lower boots are the same ones that Pier's sells and the one at the intake is a high pressure hose which EEP buys in long lengths and cut to fit.I have never had any blow off since they were done way back in 99.........Andy

sadly I still have the stock boots and clamps on my truck ... but I'm only at 36 psi of boost and have not blown or torn one yet

 

a friend of mine is making 70lbs on stock boots and clamps hasnt blown or torn one yet
