I agree, I'm just saying that for it to get hot enough to weld, a mechanical failure is unlikely unless somthing let go in the pressure plate. The clutch HAD to slip to create heat.
I have no idea how the warranty decisions go for clutch companys, on when to say its a customer related failure or mechanical type failure. I've had a few come in welded and the customers didnt receive full compensation on the product.

no fib im not lying i have told you everything i have done most of those 800 miles was with major boost leaks that i just now figured out so i was putting down even less power i just rebuilt the engine also and havent wanted to do any brnouts for a while just becuase its new and i dont want to mess up an engine that i just spent a lot of time and money on. like i said it was only a very sort burnout and it was in a low gear (2nd) besides the whole reason i bought a performance clutch was so i could play with it without burning through it

As for your clutch problems, You got it to hot, it "welded" the disc and pressure plate or disc and flywheel together. When you take it apart, you'll find one of the two if not both stuck together..A hammer will take good care of it. Or just drop it on the floor, it'll come apart. Not standing up for one clutch maker or another but it wasnt really the clutches problem, your essentially doing a boosted launch on a single disc. Creates alot of heat and friction. It's bound to happen.
