gettin ready to leave for college and the ol cummins is goin into storage any tips on what i should do like additives of what not that might make her fire right up when i return home.

 

if its going to be cold put some power service in

 

get a freash oil and filter change, try to find someone to start/run it once a month

 

disconnect the negative battery wires to keep the radio and such from draining your batteries...both of them

 

I would also consider putting a algaecide prevention conditioner like "BioCon" in your fuel along with some PowerService.Also make sure you run the fuel a bit after adding it so the conditioner is mixed and throughout your fuel system.......Andy

 

thanks guys thats what i needed to know i plan on sprayin down the frame and stuff and buyin a fited cover for the short period of time it will be outside before i can move it into the barn

 

just drop it off at my place, I'll make sure it is started atleast once a week, maybe more
