yeah, you have to get the seal kit. clean off your crank good with degreaser(it has to be clean and dry) put the new seal in the timing cover using the suplied install tool to get the depth right. put the instalation clear plastic sleeve over the crank and push the timing cover on the engine and over the crank snout, line the cover up and loosely put a few bolts in to hold it in place and push it on all the way, then snug it all down and torque the bolts to 18ftlbs.
thats how i did mine when i did my kdp fix and it worked fine with no leaks. also put a new timing cover gasket on it.
