Chaffed wires? Dirty/corroded contact points? Blub loose in the socket? When you have the socket out of the housing with the blub in it and lights on wiggle it around and see if she fires up.

Its either a bad plug or a break in the wiring to the plug.

Check the contacts inside the plug and see if they look loose and if so use a small screwdriver to gently take some of the slop out of them. This is usually caused by someone wiggling the light out of the socket instead of just carefully pulling the bulb straight out.It will happen with any connector if one wiggles them apart.

Also check the wires going into the plug....
Many times when guys force the bulbs in and pull them out with the wires it will compromise them where they go into the plug itself. When that happens your only recourse is to find a salvage yeard with a wrecked truck and get a new plug or harness.
