Just hook your fuel line coming from the tank straight to the fuel pump. From the factory the fuel comes from the tank into the fuel heater then into the fuel pump or "lift pump". Last winter I keep having a problem. I thought my truck was geling up. Well it wasnt I replaced everything it was still doing the same thing. So I broke the fuel line loose there was so much air in the system I dont even see how it would even start yeah it missed like hell though. So someone told me on here to bypass the fuel heater, and I did. I havent had a problem since.

there is a way to take the feul heater out and still have the fuel go thru the screen fuel bowl.
i am going to do this soon.dont have the link for article....seach for fuel heater and you will find it.I live on the ***** of amercia...i dont think i have to worry about zero degree temps though.I am also thinking i should mod my heater air element or just take it out for more airflow.but from what i have read this may not be worth the time.

so how did u go from the steel line that goes into the heater to the rubber line that goes to the lift pump? how r they connected to each other?

dont mess w/ taking out the grid heater unless u plan on injecting something thru the intake
