Default Roof liner

Has anyone tried removing the roof liner inside the cab?, mine is falling down and I was wondering what it would look like without the liner kinda like the older trucks.

yeah; that didn't come out bad at all... i took mine out and rubbed all the old foam and glue and w/e else was on it off so it was basically just the molded fiber board. went to a fabric store and bought some like tripple thick cloth and a can of 3M spray adhesive. they actually make an adhesive for headliners. idk the difference but its by the automotive section in wal mart. anyways results were ok, contours kinda sucked tho since it was such a heavy material it was kinda hard to work in with out it wrinkling... so if you go the cloth route look for a stretchy material and start from the center out.

I wish I would have seen that right up before replacing my headliner. That looks pretty good.
