ok looking at replaceing all my tranny lines w/ good 1/2 inch hydraulic hoses, due to the ones on the truck are fixing to give up the ghost, especially the stinking little plastic retaining clips, had one give way in the middle of nowhere out side of farmington ,nm a while back luckily had a couple of stainless steel x pipe fittings and some tubeing and benders, so far its holding up but want to fix it better, any other ideas or am i on the rite track here????? all input is greatly appricated,

 

just make sure they aren't cheap; we just had a line rupture and pumped the girl dry... check out aeroquip, see if they have a decent stainless steel line set up. if you stick with regular hose, you gotta worry about rubbing thru. unless you use some corrugated tubing (plastic wire loom) doesn't have to be too high pressure, from my understanding with talking to my tranmission guy the lines might see 30 psi max.
