Default fuel plate suggestion

hey guys i have a #5 plate in her now about half way forward afc housin full foward and starwheel about 3/4 forward. makin about 30psi with good temps and makes some good coal, but it doesnt really have the responiveness i would like. seems like it fuels real hard down low and once the turbo lights i run out of go juice. would a 100 plate make a good diffrence or should i back the star wheel down some more till she lights the turbo faster.

ahh wouldnt life be nicer with a good twin setup!

the less tension on the starwheel the move fuel down low because it doesnt take as much boost to move the foot it wont really do a whole lot for top end fuel

do you have a governor spring kit in the pump? if not that is the best thing you can do to get more "umph" out of your truck. you will wonder why you didn't do it a long time ago...

3K is fine. take the the small spring that is in the factory springs that it tells you to remove and put it back in there.... voila you have about a 3800 kit then ....

PS don't attempt to turn over 3200 rpm without aftermarket valve springs......

PPS. it is so easy a cave man can do it.....

any 3k kit will do. any of our fine site sponsors here can help you out with this purchase. just post up in the price quote forum and they will send you PM's with the pricing and all....
