Default EXHAUST LEAK,gasket replacement?

i beleive i have an exhaust leak on my 94 ctd.
i just did a clutch change on it and had the engine jacked up front to have it angled downward towards the cabin..
seems to be a little bit of smoke now coming from the engine bay area and i cant really hear the leak with engine runnining.i was thinking of disconnecting the line after the turbo.is thier a gasket there that is prone to failure if moved or perhaps something else i should look for?

thanks

no the only gaskets are the 6 manifold to head gaskets and the one trubo to manifold gasket. the elbow is a v-band that seals the gap(could not be tight enough) and were the elbow goes into the downpipe its a beveld seat that seals those together
