what does the star wheel affect?

Default what does the star wheel affect?

the star wheel is pre boost fuel right? so if my wheel is turned all the way and i turn it back some it will help with egt and mpg? does it do any thing for after the turbo?

but yes i believe it does effect you bottom end, if you can tune it right to add just the right amount of fuel then yes it will help

yeah it effects how much fuel goes where in your rpms so if it all the way out then its got less at top.

i gutted my afc housing, i took the diaphram out and plugged the holes off and gained 40 hp on the dyno.

it was already turned all the way when i got the truck to adjust it do i just take out the big allen wrech colt on top?

Ya, its a plug, just pop that little guy off, and turn the star wheel, which looks like a drum brake adjuster twards the engine for more pre boost fuel, and twards the fender for less pre boost fuel. I know if you have too much fuel down low the truck will bog, and smoke like a train, so you need to figure out if you like to smoke ppl out, or get a jump off the line.

so how do i make it to get a better jump off the line? i poped it out once and i didnt see the wheel just the spring on the metal pin or wat ever wats up with that?

your wheel has been turned to far, just take the afc off and flip it upsidedown, you can see it from there and get it back into the hole. no bid deal
