Default Dash Pod?

I'm needing away to mount up a couple more gauges and I would like to do a dash pod. Does anyone make one specifically for the 94-97s or is it true you can "grind" the 98-02 pods and make them fit on a 97?

There was a few people at one time making a 3 and a 4 guage mount that fit the left top corner of a dash for the 94-97 trucks.I actually just gave one away a few months ago which I had for years as it was sent to me incorrectly and they didn't want it back. The one I had was a Banks pod and I do not know who made it for them. You will find alot of the top mount gauge pods for the 94-97's are discontinued.

I'm noticing their not that common anymore. But yah I knew Banks used to make one...

Or what about an overhead guys? Autometer has them for 98-present. Shouldn't that work on a 97? I know the trip computer is different in the 98-02s but with a little fabrication it should work yes?

The xmonitor looks nice but it sounds like it already does what the gauges I have do. I have the boost, pyro, and tranny temp already. I'm looking to mount a fuel pressure, nitrous pressure, and a water temp.
