Guys, im putting a 1996 cummins in a 2003 truck, the turbo from my 03 I plan to use on the 1996, prior to this swap I had a 1993 rotary pump motor in truck with this turbo and never felt much boost acceleration, just heard the turbo, I believe it was due to lack of fuel compared to boost, is this correct? If I put this same turbo on the 96 p pump and a fuel plate, considering a 100, will I feel more go. Also, I had used my oval port exhaust manifold on the rectangular port 93 head, is there a gasket that I can continue to use that will fit both holes? If not, I'll just use the 96 manifold. Thanks.

Also, if someone could take a quick guess, what kinda of turbo came on my truck in 2003? It has a waste gate and a 4" v clamp outlet. Little bigger than the 1996 holset.
