I'm runnin a 35/40 as said above it is a great litlle upgrade however its not much you don't gain anything but airflow and while airflow is good unless you do change the exducer housing out you don't gain much imo save to 5 to 600 put away and save another 1000 up and buy a turbo by the time its all said and done it will save the hassle and money

i found a used hx40 pretty cheap.but it has a 4"exaust outlet.to keep from getting a down pipe right now,can i just swap the compressor part?

HX40 is a decent charger if it has the right exhaust housing on it.You do not want anything over a 16cm or it will be a lag pig.They at one time were the rage of the Cummins owners but have long since been passed over by owners in foavor of the S300 framed chargers due to better shafts.IF you do decide to go this route then I would have the cover pinned and make sure the wastegate is functional as you will not want the HX40 over 40spi or it will not live......Andy

it is a 16cm housing.and it is a 6 billet blade.
