Default 47rh?

Where is the cable you adjust that tells it to shift sooner or later. I have heard of it before and saw pics but dont no where that thread is. does it hurt if its shifting early? with od off it shifts to 3rd at like 30 ish

the recall was on the throttle cable itself that runs from the accelerator pedal to the injection pump, not the TV cable.

the cable is located on the left (drivers) side of the truck. it runs up from the tranny and hooks to the linkage on the injection pump. with the truck NOT RUNNING, have someone press the accelerator pedal. crawl under the truck and watch the tranny as the pedal is pressed and released to find the cable/lever that is moving on the tranny. once you find it get the person in the cab to press the pedal to the floor or WOT, wide open throttle, and watch which way the lever and cable on the tranny moves. when at WOT the cable and lever should be at the farthest it can move in that direction. take your hand and push the lever in the direction it is moving when it moves with the pedal. if it moves then the cable is out of adjustment. i can't remember if the adjustment is on the injection pump or if it is on the tranny where it attaches to the lever. but you should be able to see it when you get under there and look and trace it back to the injection pump under the hood

recall work is free. take the VIN to the dealer and ask what safety recalls are available for that VIN. then take it in. it is FREE no charge so don't let them get you for any fee or anything.....

yup any Dodge dealer that is still open. they CAN NOT REFUSE the work. it may take them a little while to order the cable if they don't stock it but it is free......
