when i bought the truck the guage said 1/8 tank left when really it was full. i bought one of them cheap $15 universal senders and put it in the tank with a matching autometer fuel level guage to go with it. it has worked for awhile but never accurate, i think the diesel took its toll on it finaly because it is constantkly on full now. what has everyone done to solve this issue on their truck

i threw the stocker away last year when i put the aftermarket one in its place

 

Mine does that to I just go til the fuel light comes on that tels me I got about 46 miles til I run out also if you know how many miles to a tank you can go just reset your trip meter everytime you fuel up and keep an eye on it

 

i ordered another fuel sender fom napa today so i will install that and hope that will solve my issue

 

if it works let me know i might do that to mint im tired of going by miles

 

ok i know this will work only problem you have to buy another guage and drop the tank
