Default typical dodge rust!

what easiest andcheapest way to fix the rust, or would it just be better to buy new front quarter panels and some doors and go from there?

buy the replacemt parts form auto body specialys they are the correct gauge, and fit well. They also seem to hold up if you properly instal them. Once you have rust, you will always until its ground out, our cut out. Just puting primer over sanded down rust is going to slow it down, but withing a full winter it will be back bigger and badder.

Sand most of it down and use a rust converter like Zero Rust or Chassis Saver. DO the backside too if you can. Then paint over it. Problem solved.

the best why to do it is sand most of the rust down the pray it with phosphoric acid. the acid neutralizes the rust and keeps it from spreading then paint over it

Zinc chromate is also a good rust converter and inhibitor

A couple of options for you

If the metal isnt completely rusted through -

Rust Bullet - Rust Inhibitor Coating & Products Rust Paint & Preventative

I know there are other brands like POR15 etc.

If its is completely rusted through:

New panels: LMC Truck Parts: Chevy Chevrolet Blazer S10 GMC Jimmy S15 Ford Bronco Ranger Pickup Pick Up Accessories/Catalogs
